Parsons Green Area Guide
Parsons Green is in the London Borough of Fulham and is in Zone 2 and it lies between Fulham Road and New Kings Road. With plenty of cafes, little independent shops and a limitless amount of pub gardens, Parsons Green feels more like a small English village and what’s more, if you have a dog, they are allowed pretty much anywhere!
There is a lovely farmers’ market on Sundays boasting a traditional feel offering fresh fruit and veg, fish, meat, poultry and dairy. You’ll find that people are very into their fitness here with no shortage of fitness studios littered about and lots of people cycling. There are two main green parks in Parsons Green, Eelbrook Common and the Green itself.
Parsons Green is mainly made up of Georgian and Victorian properties with there being some contemporary flats and apartments available also. On the Peterborough Estate (South of New Kings Road), there are houses made from red brick that all have something in common; a little lion perched on the roofs of all the houses, these houses are very popular.
Parsons Green has its own Underground Station that is on the District Line. West Brompton and Imperial Wharf are both Overground Stations nearby. There are a few buses that run through here with the popular routes being the number 14 to Warren Street and the number 22 to Piccadilly Circus. If you are after something a little different for your morning commute, you can catch the RB6 river bus service from Imperial Wharf with the end of the line being Blackfriars.
